To demonstrate fashion’s influence on interior design for Annette Tatum’s book “The Well Dressed Home,” we made 12 mannequins in 12 different fashion “styles” including couture, modern, eclectic, eco and romantic.
We used materials used for interior design to clothe the mannequins: the eco style mannequin’s skirt is made of newspaper, its top, of eucalyptus bark; the classic style ensemble is made of book pages, herringbone fabric and drawer knob “buttons”; the couture bustle is made of wallpaper.
